Nick Weiss, M.D.


I am a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. My approach is tailored to each patient’s individual needs and preferences.  I provide psychotherapy and management of psychiatric medications.

I am a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Medical School, and I trained in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. I am board certified both in General (Adult) Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  I am a physician, but I have also completed advanced training in psychotherapy, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, mentalization-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.  In addition, I have been strongly influenced by mindfulness traditions and my own mindfulness practice.  I serve on the faculty of the University of Washington and on the medical staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Free parking in garage under building. Parking Entrance is from the back of the building on E. Arthur Place. Please only use spots designated “Puget Sound Psychotherapy.”
